The Conway bridge for Norfolk Southern Railroad was the complete demo and reconstruction of a 6 span bridge leading into their yard in Conway, PA. We had our work cut out for us on this one since one of the spans crossed several high speed tracks that had to remain in service throughout the entire contract. The project covered many areas of heavy highway construction including caissons, bridge piles, deck pans, concrete placement, MSE wall construction, sidewalks, intersection tie-ins, hand rail, guide rail, MPT, electrical work, and steel erection and painting.
